A Place at the Table

Find a Table Worth Coming Back To.

Long-term weekly D&D with thoughtful, funny, imaginative people who care about the game—and one another. I’ll help you find the table where you fit.

What Sounds Fun to You?

The Right Table Makes Room for the Way You Play.

Maybe you want high-stakes heroics. Maybe you want character drama, hard choices, or simply a dependable group that shows up every week. You don’t have to sort that out before we talk.

A Few Places to Start

Here Are Three Games We Could Start With.

Open whichever campaign catches your eye. You’re not committing to anything, and this isn’t the whole map. If two sound good—or none do—we’ll narrow it down together.

The Person Behind the Screen

I’m Ben. I’ll Help You Find Where You Fit.

Before you join anything, we’ll talk one-on-one about what you enjoy, how much D&D you’ve played, which nights work, and what helps you feel at home at a table.

If one of my campaigns is a good fit, I’ll tell you why. If it isn’t, I’ll tell you that too. I’m not trying to fill the nearest empty chair. I’m trying to help you find a weekly game you’ll still be excited to play six months from now.

I’ve been running tabletop games for more than 22 years. I run player-driven campaigns where choices matter, beginners get support, and everyone knows what to expect from the table.

I take the table seriously. I try not to take myself too seriously.

In the Players’ Own Words

From the People at the Table

Ben has always been great about raising the stakes and keeping them high at the right moments, while still maintaining a feeling of comedic fun. His combats are responsive and challenging, without slowing to a drag over looking up abilities and rules. I cannot recommend him enough!

Chris N. StartPlaying review

Ben does an amazing job at giving players the freedom of creativity. The games are challenging, the narrative is fantastic, and he makes every level feel well earned.

G StartPlaying review

If you enjoy collaborative storytelling, emotional whiplash, and being personally victimized by excellent narrative design, Ben is an outstanding DM. 5 out of 5 stars. I would absolutely recommend him, despite the emotional scars.

The Practical Part

A Real Weekly Table, with No Surprises.

Here’s what you’re signing up for—and what you aren’t.

The rhythm
One four-hour session every week, in a long-term campaign built to go somewhere.
The table
We play on Discord voice and Roll20. Beginners get support, and everyone gets clear expectations around boundaries, safety, and inclusion.
The rate
$10 per hour for a four-hour weekly session. Your ongoing seat stays reserved for you, including weeks you miss.
The first step
We talk first. Session Zero comes next. Both are free, and neither obligates you to join.
Read the attendance policy

If the table feels right to both of us, we move forward. If it doesn’t, no hard feelings.
