Attendance Policy

Attendance & Absences

All of my campaigns run on a weekly schedule, and each player holds a reserved seat at the table. When you join a campaign, you’re committing to that shared rhythm. Your payment supports the ongoing story and keeps the game moving forward, whether or not you’re able to attend a particular session.

Life happens. If you need to miss a week, just let me know when you can. You don’t need to justify yourself or explain personal details. Your seat remains yours, and the campaign continues.

Occasional absences are completely expected in a long-running game. If missing sessions starts to become a regular pattern, we’ll check in together and talk it through. Sometimes that means adjusting expectations, sometimes it means taking a short break, and sometimes it means deciding that a different arrangement would work better. The goal is always clarity and fairness for everyone at the table, not punishment.

When something major or unpredictable comes up — medical issues, mental health struggles, family emergencies — we’ll handle it with care. You never need to overshare. Communication comes first, and we’ll make reasonable accommodations together.

If someone misses a session without any communication at all, that still counts as a session for that week. If it happens repeatedly, it’s a sign that we should talk and make sure the campaign is still a good fit.

This policy exists to support long-term storytelling, protect group momentum, and make sure I can consistently show up prepared and present for everyone involved. If you ever have questions or concerns, I’m always happy to talk.

Campaign seats are billed weekly. Payment reserves your place in the game, whether or not you attend a specific session.

Letting me know you’ll be absent does not change the weekly fee, but it’s always appreciated for planning purposes.

Missing a session without any communication still counts as a session for that week.

Repeated or extended absences will prompt a check-in to make sure the campaign is still a good fit for everyone.

Major life events are handled case by case, with communication and care.
